Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were marked, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a official communication.

Law enforcement state they were alerted late on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then found multiple other vandalized cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials say early analysis suggest the substance was likely human blood.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; investigators are presently not cognizant of any harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

City officials stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the public for information.

An important political figure commented the attack left him without words and had to be solved rapidly.

"This incident affects the core of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right violent incident five years ago," he wrote on online, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a gunman targeting individuals of foreign heritage in five years prior.
